Membership includes:
- FREE flight instruction.
- Participation in all club activities.
- Exclusive use of flying site.

The Patuxent Aeromodelers is a charter club of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). AMA membership is a prerequisite before joining the club. AMA membership provides liability coverage for the club and members in the unlikely event of an accident.

To join, please bring your completed application and AMA membership card to the next meeting.

New members and previous members who have let their membership lapse are subject to an initiation fee plus annual dues. To avoid repaying the initiation fee, members are required to renew their membership by the first business meeting of the year.

Dues are as follows:

Family (includes all household AMA members) $90 $90
Junior (19 years old as of July 1st) $30 $30
Associate (non-flying, voting) $5 $5
